Afternoon in Carpinteria

We had a spur of the moment trip to Carpinteria with the folks today. It was such a beautiful warm day! We met at Farmer's market in Goleta and then took off together for breakfast downtown in Carpinteria.

We walked to the beach and watched Owen play in the surf with Nanna until he did a face plant when a rather large wave came rolling in. Nanna wrapped him up in her cozy fleece vest until we could get him to the car to head home. Such a nice day.
