San Luis Obispo Children's Museum

Owen's school was closed for Veteran's Day, so we decided to spend the day in San Luis Obispo and check out the Children's Museum. Owen was pretty grumpy that morning because he wanted to take the stroller there, not the car....he had no idea that we had an hour and 45 minute drive ahead of us. This is how our day went.... Owen and Emily went for a ride on a real police motorcycle!
Emily would not let go of these silk flowers in the farmers market section of the museum.Owen got to be a bus driver and take Mommy, Daddy and Emily "to Santa Barbara."
Owen got to play Doctor on his little personal patient, Emily.

She got a clean bill of health on the chart he filled out for her ; )

Emily had a lot of fun playing as well.She was even game to have another little girl listen to her heart beat as well.Our little fireman.Emily found the perfect little chair that was just her size : )

We realized at lunch that Owen was sick when he refused to eat (which NEVER happens) and started a fever. It only lasted two days and he is back to normal now. I felt so bad for him. He was such a Mamma's boy when he wasn't feeling well.

Emily was as happy as could be.
