More pictures....

I know, I know, I take a lot of pictures of my kids...as if I don't have enough picture of them already! But I love photography and enjoy practicing on them. Here are my favorites I took this weekend.

Owen kisses her hand all day long. It's so sweet. He just adores Emily.

Happy Birthday Nana!

My Mom does so much for our family without blinking twice. For her Birthday this year we wanted to get creative and give her something special she would enjoy with her grand kids. We headed to Color Me Mine and picked out an old fashioned cookie jar to decorate. We all worked on it as a family and got Owen and Emily's hand prints on it to top it off. I found out later that Owen spilled the beans and told her what we got her, but she had no idea that we made it, so it was still a surprise. Owen was VERY proud and excited to give his Nana her gift this year!

We love you Mom! Happy Birthday! Here's to a fabulous year ahead!

Happy Halloween!

We started our Halloween day by seeing this HUGE spider in our trash closet outside. So creepy!!
We decided to have a last minute Halloween party at my Mom's house. I wanted to make sure the kids had full bellies of good food before they loaded up on candy. Every time I turned around there was more food I had not yet tried. Everything was so yummy! Mom made the best mac and cheese from scratch! We also had spinach artichoke dip, warm bean dip, curried cream cheese and crackers, feta and figs, pizza twists, pumpkin muffins...the list goes on and on....
Bones and Blood (or pizza dough and marinara ; ) Mummy Veggie Dogs After we filled up on dinner, it was time to hit the trick or treating trail! The kids were SO excited to leave! We had a monkey, a ninja, Cinderella and Tinkerbell on the hunt for some candy. We also had a little leopard (Teya with her Mommy Suzanne)
A handsome doctor and lady bug, along with Tom and cutie pie Marrit.
Cinderella checking out her loot!
Owen got to wear his costume 5 times this year! It's the best $16 I have ever spent on an article of clothing for him! He was an awfully cute monkey.Nana passing out the goods. The candy crash at the end of the night. This is one tired princess and monkey. One happy little ladybug who chose to suck on her little fingers instead of a lollipop this Halloween. So glad Halloween is over!

Farmer's market, Wine Tasting

Adam's Mother, Anna and brother, Rob came out to visit last week. We had so much fun with those two! I think the only time we stopped to sit down was when we were in the car on our way to our next adventure!
On Saturday we started off at farmers market downtown where Owen insisted on wearing his Halloween monkey costume. He got a lot of attention that morning!
Owen LOVES his Uncle Rob. He is his "Buddy."

Owen never took those mittens off either. He even ate popcorn with them on : )Next, we changed him into normal play clothes and headed to the wine country to taste and enjoy a picnic at Kalyra.

Notice the little hand trying to get in the picture ; ) (she was actually sound asleep)

We then moved on and tasted and walked the beautiful grounds at Bridalwood. We usually hit at least one or two more wineries when we go, but we had Owen with us who needed to run around and play. It was a perfect afternoon. He got to play soccer with Uncle Rob, and have a picnic with some of his favorite people on the planet!
Watch out! Owen's behind the wheel!
Granny Anna and her boys (well, two of them anyway...we miss you Dan!)Emily learning how to hold a wine glass. Uh oh!"Fishing" with Daddy and Uncle Rob.
We had such a fun day full of lots of laughs! After all of this, we actually headed to Boo at the Zoo next! I am tired just thinking about it! To be continued.....
